A random one really, but "King Of Rome" by The Unthanks. It's about a racing pigeon - except it's not really about a racing pigeon. This is the bit that has me weeping:

The words of Black Swan Song by Athlete always get to me. It was written about one of the band member’s grandfather passing away.

I cannot listen to "Little Drummer Boy" due to the connection with the Moors Murderers

A beautiful song and film. Glen Hansard's voice cracking on the chorus is the bit that always gets me.

Don't Dream It's Over by Crowded House and Keeping The Dream Alive by Farenheit as they remind me of my late Dad.

You'll Never Walk Alone if sung by Gerry Marsden or on the Kop, Saltwater by Julian Lennon and Story Of The Blues by Wah! because they make me think of Liverpool, where I come from and I desperately want to go back, for good...

There's one song that makes me cry just by thinking about it, never mind listening to it and that's Little Green by Joni Mitchell 😢
