What’s everyone up to this weekend?

I love these kinds of threads (even though they obviously aren't AIBU and will get a bunch of eye-roll inducing complaints).

Tomorrow, we need to do a long dog walk in the morning because we're out in the day. Then I have a massage booked before DS has a birthday party with a friend. On Sunday, we're taking DCs swimming. Nothing wildly exciting.

Slimjimtobe · 20/01/2023 15:59

Cooking fajitas tonight (spent the afternoon decluttering)

going to local theatre to a show and Sunday probably bring dc swimming

SleeplessInEngland · 20/01/2023 15:59

YABU

No plans really. I had resigned myself to a weekend of 'haricot au pan', only having 82p in the bank to last until Monday (am NOT begging!). I had to log into my Paypal account just now and discovered that there was £9.23 in there! It was a Depop sale that I'd forgotten about. I am absolutely over the moon!

Muffinmctuffin · 20/01/2023 16:04

Having roast chicken tonight and roasting enough veggies to put into a stew with dumplings tmrw.

Long chilly walk with our toddler tmrw morning, cosy afternoon and maybe a Saturday night film.

Sunday, no idea but much the same probably!

Parkrun tomorrow and a cross country race on Sunday.

Glad it's dry!

Justonedayatatime11 · 20/01/2023 16:54

Going 'home' for the day tomorrow. I only moved 30 miles away but I don't get to go back often enough. So a long walk on the beach and pier, fish and chips and pop to see my DM. Early night I hope and then DF is coming for lunch on Sunday. Need to make a creme egg cheesecake for then.

OldTinHat · 20/01/2023 17:01

I shall be cleaning tomorrow before my cleaner starts her first day on Sunday!

Flamingogirl08 · 20/01/2023 17:02

Kids with MIL tomorrow so me and DH are off out for steak and wine 😁

HowCanIPayItForward · 20/01/2023 17:09

Tonight I've got the house to myself whilst the DC are at football training and DH coaches them so I'm going to chill with my audiobook.

Tomorrow a small get together at friends'.

Sunday recovering (because I'm mid-radiotherapy and the fatigue is horrendous).

Cheesetoastiesz · 20/01/2023 17:24

We have 3 birthday parties tomorrow to juggle for DD, so that will be hectic in the day, then I’ve got a meal out with friends in the evening (so DH will probably get a takeaway and do a film night with DD if she isn’t wiped out by then)

Sunday we have a lunch booked in with some local friends and their kids, and then a lazy evening most likely

As we are approaching the weekend again, yay! Thought I’d keep this thread going! What’s everyone up to this weekend?
