To ask for a handhold please

Had a fever since last night, not coming down with paracetamol or ibuprofen. Chest is really tight, to the point I'm too breathless to stand up. Honestly never felt so ill. Head is pounding. Got two small DC at home and im currently waiting for my DH to get back from work to watch them as im struggling to get out of bed. Just rang 111 and they are supposed to be getting a clinician to call me back in the next few minutes although that was about 20 mins ago. Don't know what I've got but I wouldn't wish it on anybody! Just feeling really sorry for myself!

Oh no! Plenty of hugs! Are the DC school age? Could it be covid? You’re going to need to rest as much as you can. Call in all help you can with the DC if they are too small for school xxxx

@HappyHolidays22 one is school age one is nursery age. I'm just waiting for DH to get back so he can watch them for me. They are currently just having to play in my bedroom whilst I'm in bed as I can't stand up

Sounds like Covid. Hope your husband is home soon. Get some rest and plenty of warm drinks.

Hope your other half got home to help and you managed to sleep! There is nothing worse than being ill and mumming at the same time but you can do it, it will pass xxx

Currently in the hospital, being tested for sepsis. Honestly never felt this poorly!
