To ask about tingling nipples?

I am 46 and definitely in peri.

For the past couple of days, I have had the oddest sensation in both nipples. It is a tingling just like when your milk comes in when you are breastfeeding.

Definitely not pregnant as I got my period a couple of days ago.

Anybody else have this?
I have health anxiety so I find things like this tricky, but I know it can't be cancer as it's both sides and came on suddenly.
I read evening primrose oil can help and may give that a go if it carries on, unless anyone has a better suggestion??

Thank you!

Have you taken a pregnancy test? The only thing that’s ever given me tingly boobs is pregnancy!

  1. The week up to period week mine are like this.

Definitely not pregnant! On period as we speak.

Is it a normal period? In the past I've mistaken implantation bleeding with a period.

bellav · 16/01/2023 19:03

Yes, normal period. At least 90ml (cup user).

I have this occasionally on my period. I'm peri too.

bellav · 16/01/2023 19:55

@MermaidEyes Thank you for replying. Sorry you get this too. It's so weird!

Same here. Freaked me out the first time as it felt so much like being pregnant.

Pregnancy sprang to mind for me too...
