Its one of the first things I do every morning when I wake up

I have no idea if this is universal, or I am a freak who never grew up and I am the only adult in the world who does it, or something in between

Yes, especially when it’s crusty. I usually do it on the loo so I can deposit stuff on some loo roll and then wash my hands

I dislike seeing other people pick their nose. It makes me feel queasy. There's a time and a place for some things and nose picking falls into this category 😁

No. I just blow my nose if I feel the need.
When my DC were little I would always tell them to get their fingers out of their nose, hated seeing that.
