What age with DC is a good time to move?

Shamelessly posting for traffic.
DC is 17 months, and I desperately want to move as as soon as they were born I realised how unsuitable this house is. Here's the question, when is a good time to move? Because what I'm looking for with a toddler, won't be an issue with a 5 year old or 10 year old. Then with a teen it will differ again.
I'm longing for my forever home so don't want to move again, I want thus to be it.
I have thought about renovating to make this place more suitable, but I'd be better off just to move, I'll stay in the neighbourhood so the school thing isn't really a factor I don't think.
Does anyone have any insights for me? I'm so confused and don't know if I'm overthinking 😕

Every house has pros and cons for each age group. The things I look for are access to services and public transport, which will make your life easier and works well with teens who can then access public transport. Public transport is definitely something I'd consider as a huge bonus if looking for something that will last with older children.

If you're looking to make a big move out of area, in my experience, the younger the better.

If moving area I would move before they are 8, if staying in the sane area I don't think it matters
