Guess the parent who birthed the children 😀 salaries per year.

IABU = X
IANBU = Y

Only time in 20yrs my salary was less than my husband was 1 year after 1st child to 1st year after second child (3yrs between) worked ft always.
No breaks other than maternity.

I moved jobs as the only way to recorrect it. If you stay with the same employer you will pay for the effect for the next 30yrs.

X and Y actually both earned almost the exact same per year worked:

~195k for 5 years of work

(this is adding up the first 5 years for X and adding up all 7 years for Y who worked for 5 of those years.)
