Because most people that I see criticising her online are the sort that is very proud of their leftwing credentials. The type with all the usual buzzwords in the Twitter profile.

I'm sure many people of all races and political persuasions dislike her and I can understand why but I still think she should be able to talk about and support what she wants. Other people can scroll by and ignore it, the world won't end if you accidentally see someone with the wrong opinion.

Her colour has nothing to do with her being disliked. She is a very right wing Trump apologist.

Gammon is fairly accurate considering this poster is displaying faux outrage, because they are likely a racist themselves.

And no one has said anything of the sort (except the racists on this thread) people call out when people are racist towards Megan and Dianne Abbot. Or when unfair levels of hate or scrutiny is levied against them due to their race.

Who is stopping her? I don’t think it is shutting her down by saying that her views about racism and the things she says about other groups is not only wrong but damaging, ignorant, and feeds into negative stereotypes.

No one is stopping anyone from having an opinion.

Gammon is not a racist term. the only people who consider it as such as usually the very racists the term describes.

It's ironic that Candice would disagree. According to her the black people getting killed/assaulted by the police isn't because of racism. She thinks that the issue is trivial. According to her black people have a victim mentality. She defended Kanye West and wore a 'white lives matter' t shirt along with him. She thinks that African Americans have it worse now than during the Jim Crow era. She failed to denounce the KKK. She'd probably agree that gammon is very much a racist term and that person needs defending. She's been shut up about Hitler, but said enough.

She definitely has some weird views.
But that doesn't mean that she shouldn't be allowed to voice them.
I would rather people were allowed to speak and show themselves for what they are and be able to debate with them, than them be silent and people not know what they stand for.

She is very hypocritical and inconsistent with her views.

She claims that some of the views of the left are harmful and abusive, yet feels andrew tate is ok as he is 'upfront' about being abusive.

She believes the black lives matter movement is wrong as black women especially need to take more responsibility about getting out of poverty, yet does not support reproductive freedom.

She tries to tear Taylor swift and other left wing singers to shreds, saying their lyrics are objectively bad, and she makes fun of their harmless yet more wacky behaviours/comments. But supports Kanye West who has actually come out with legitimate harmful comments. She supported him through his Jewish people were responsible for holocaust rant...but is offended when Sam Smith wears high heels?
