To freak about vbreast changes

So I am breastfeeding in one boob not the other it dried up in the early days about 10 months ago.

Started my period last month again after a year post partum.

I am day 21 in cycle. Dried up boob has been agonisingly painful last few days. Huge, heavy. Now this morning there is like a red rash all on the underside of the boob up to the nipple.

I had 2 under 2 so only had maybe 3 periods in over 3 years so I don't know what's normal anymore.

Obviously when I Google inflammatory breast cancer comes up. But I don't want to jump to conclusions and will seek medical advice of required and doesn't disappear.

Just wondered if anyone had similar changes breast wise post partum and if it might just be pms hormones.

DH and I did have sex this month but used a condom before anyone says pregnancy.. I guess they are not always 100 percent but don't think it's this

Help! Aibu to be concerned? Any thoughts would be great!

I had mastitis back in 2015 and I remember my breast was very hot, swollen and red and very tender and uncomfortable. Go to see your GP as soon as possible. It's more likely to be that than anything sinister but get checked out.

@Starontreetop can you get mastitis in a breast that's not producing milk?
