I'm a mature student doing my masters in social work. Meant to be starting placement a week on Monday. I know the local authority I am placed with but no idea of area or team.
Everyone else in my course has their placement confirmed, has met with their team, know which days/time they are in and have been able to prepare.
I keep getting fobbed off by my personal tutor, and other staff at uni that would be involved in this. They keep saying it's with the local authority and we will email you when we know. That's been a week now since I've had any correspondence.
AIBU to be extremely frustrated now? I want to write them an email on Monday voicing my frustration but realise that will probably not help matters.
