AIBU to wonder where all the nice homes have gone? Looking on rightmove and Zoopla and finding a property to rent is like finding a needle in a haystack. The rooms are the size of a cupboard or the only access to property is through the neighbours garden or the kitchen hasn’t been updated since the 90s. I suppose it doesn’t help that they’re mostly big standard magnolia.
I don’t have high standards at all, but it is really ridiculous. I’m looking for a 2 - 3 bedroom, in a nice area in England (not fussy where).
Most people’s homes I’ve been in are lovely, good layout etc. Where on earth are they finding them? And “just buy a house” can’t be the answer as most of these people rent.
