Went to the hospital this morning for a minor procedure. Was uncomfortable and a bit painful, so I left feeling a bit crap.
As I left the hospital to go into the carpark, some workmen who were working on the hospital grounds started cat-calling and wolf whistling at me.
I hate that type of shit. I don’t find it flattering or funny. It made me feel so embarrassed and degraded.
Does anyone think it’s just so inappropriate to harass people like that on hospital grounds of all places?
What if the next woman they do it to has just been visiting a dying relative, or has just been told some awful news?
Would I be unreasonable to report this to the hospital reception staff and ask for the details of the company/agency that the workman are working for?
