To feel a bit sad

We used to go to bed at the same time when our child was wee but now my husband stays up really late every night and I go to bed alone there have been times throughout the years we've gone at different times but it's been months now and I'm starting to feel super lonely and dreading night times.
Anyone else feel like this

Have you discussed this with your husband? Have you explained that you would like him to go to bed with you at least some nights? I think you need to have this discussion and see what he says.

You definitely need to say something , what's he staying up doing ?

I’m the opposite! I need silence to fall sleep so I encourage DH to come to bed later than me. He usually plays something football related on his phone or console. We do have a cuddle before bed though and then he pisses off so I can fall asleep in peace.

I'm the one staying up really late every night and going to bed later than everyone else even though totally exhausted, just so I can sit in peace with nobody talking to me or asking me to do anything.

Always, every night? What's he staying up lage doing? Is it that you've started to go to bed earlier?

Lockeddownagain · 11/01/2023 23:46

He's just watching TV or working he's not doing anything bad

This is my favourite part of the day. The peace and quiet is lovely! I've always been a night owl anyway and find it very difficult to drop off so I couldn't bear having to retire for the night before I'm ready.
