To be beside myself with worry

I suppose I'm posting for traffic as I haven't had a response under the Health section

I had laser surgery yesterday for a torn retina after going to the optician because of floaters. NHS were amazing and operated within 5 hours. I would like to hear from anyone else who has had one and the associated laser surgery - positive only please - my nerves can't take anything else as I'm so worried

What are you worried about? Any post surgery symptoms/ complications?

Yes - I have to go back next Tuesday to make sure the lasered areas are doing what they should be. As long as I get positive news then, I'll be ok but it's the next few days and I'm praying that I don't get any more floaters. I end up imagining them! I just wish I could be more level headed about this kind of thing!
