Hello all

Have a few other threads about the abuse my ex put me and the kids through

He never paid a penny to support us either

Took a look at the child maintenance calculator and it says 60k over the last 6 years based on his salary

Now I know I will never get any of this ever !! But - if he now applies to see the kids (we were in a refuge after leaving extreme violence not seen him in years) does he have to cough up any of that 60k??

Child maintenance and contact are different issues. He can apply for contact regardless of whether or not he pays and he doesn't lose contact if he doesn't pay.

CMS counts from the say that you apply so that 60k is gone.

No. They don't back date. And contact and money are separate
