When your dc started school?

Dd, 4,5 is now full time at school since January and I’m due to go back to work next month.
Just sat at home today, in a quiet house, which was lovely in some ways, but also so sad.
Just feel a bit strange and flat…4 years of just non stop, hectic, craziness together 24-7, play dates, walks in the buggy, days out..all just stopped and it’s back to work as before..it just flew by and I don’t like it basically

Hugs, op. Yes I did, I totally felt that. You need to start figuring out what to get from your days until your child gets home. So goals, books, hobbies etc. I’m a writer so I was never stuck but I know some people who felt so lonely. I won’t advise pt job etc because unless you’re thinking of it, at that age with an early pick up it’s so hard! Best of luck x
