Didn't really know what to put this under so here we are!

Hypothetical situation - you unexpectedly have a day to yourself tomorrow - no work, no responsibilities, no chores. What do you do with yourself? Go!

Lay in bed and watch netflix/read. Order deliveroo for lunch and maybe nap

thunderstruckk · 10/01/2023 18:05

Have a mini lie in and a luxury shower (hair mask, shower bomb, shave everything and moisturise until I'm a seal like goddess), give myself a proper blow dry, pop out for breakfast at my fave place in the nearby town, stroll round the shops for the morning. Take myself for a lunch for one at somewhere no one else likes but I do, then go home via the supermarket and pick up my fave snacks. Home, pjs on and a film or book with snacks. Face mask and relax. Tea would probably be nothing as full from the day! Then bed.

So upset I'm in work tomorrow now 😂

Shoxfordian · 10/01/2023 18:06

Read in bed all morning, get ready around 12- go for lunch out at the pub, play some switch, watch some tv

HandsOffMyCarrierBags · 10/01/2023 18:08

Lay in, sauna, meet friends for a log dog walk, eat out, film in bed

FleeceDuvet · 10/01/2023 18:08

I did exactly this last Tuesday, took a random day of AL last minute as we were over staffed.

I had a long lie in, a bath, watched all of Happy Valley s1 and walked the dogs. It was lovely.

mynameiscalypso · 10/01/2023 18:08

Sleep. Meander around some shops. Maybe go for a leisurely swim. Sleep some more.

StarDolphins · 10/01/2023 18:09

I would have a little lie in, leisurely walk the dog, then watch TV/Netflix ALL day. Can’t tell you the last time I sat in the sofa & did this.

Imthegingerbreadwoman · 10/01/2023 18:10

Sleep. Netflix in bed. Order a takeaway. Eat loads of crap. I don't t get days off so if I could get one I would! Mum to 4 kids and me and dh have 2 businesses so it never ends

Wibbly1008 · 10/01/2023 18:12

Sit in coffee shop all day long, drinking coffee and reading. Sound like heaven to me.

shard5 · 10/01/2023 18:31

I'd be off to my sister's, she's only a short drive away with a baby and it would be lovely to just stop worrying about everything 'my home' related, pick up my mum and off we'd go!
Realistically though, after doing the school drop off I'd come home have a leisurely breakfast, get ready, grab a good book and read all day, ( in between school pick ups and all the other humdrum)

roarfeckingroarr · 10/01/2023 19:01

I start maternity leave tomorrow. I'm going to have a leisurely breakfast, go for a swim then meet my aunt for some lunch. Maybe do a bit of shopping then come home and laze about. Can't wait!

whataboutsecondbreakfast · 10/01/2023 19:03

Have a lie in, breakfast in bed, a nice long soak in the bath and then a lazy day at home on the sofa. Takeaway for dinner.

Woahtherehoney · 10/01/2023 19:24

Ooohhh the dream. I’d lay in bed reading for a bit, get up and go treat myself to breakfast somewhere nice, go for a look around the shops, then go for a walk by the river then have an early dinner before an early night!

SpanishSalsaing · 10/01/2023 19:31

I'd just spend all day sitting on the carpet watching the poker channel, wanking and eating those expensive German biscuits. Probably.

lovetosup · 10/01/2023 19:34

Go to your nearest spa for the day and relax
