Lighthearted! Took youngest DS for his chickenpox vaccine at boots; both DH and I went, I left them there waiting whilst I got my eyebrows done and went back to meet them after. When I left them to get my eyebrows done, they were waiting to be seen. When I came back, they were in the consultation room so I waited for them; they took longer than expected so when they came out our parking was about to run out. I said I’d get DS settled and meet DH at the car in a few minutes to avoid a fine.
got back to the car, I put DS in the car and DH folded the pram and put it in the boot. When wet got back, I noticed there were a couple of bottles of calpol in the boot and mentioned them; DH said he’d put them in the bottom
of the pram to pay for after the immunisation, then presumed I’d paid for them because he rushed off to sort the parking. I said I didn’t pay because I didn’t know they were there!
DH is (jokingly!), saying this counts as me stealing because I was the one who physically left the shop with them. I say it’s him because how on earth was I supposed to know they were there in the first place??
this is all lighthearted by the way, we called and explained to boots and they were fine with it, said to pay next time we were in, which we will. But I’m right, aren’t I??
