Okay this is probably silly but first time mum so idk the rules. Daughters birthday is coming up and need to send out party invites to her class. How far in advance would you send the invites?

I send about 5 weeks beforehand - i know a lot of people think that this is too much notice but it's never caused me a problem and i like to buy a specific amount of party bags rather than have waste.

I do 3 weeks

dementedpixie · 10/01/2023 13:52

About 2 weeks before maybe. Expect people not to reply!

NoDairyNoProblem · 10/01/2023 13:53

3/4 weeks. RSVP requested 10 days before party.

If you have the date I would send now

we ended up having a school party almost every weekend and all seemed to do a class party

some parties clashed

so get yours in first

Yeah I think it depends on the age of the e child. If they are nursery up to year 1/2 I'd send with plenty of notice as there are just so many parties and you don't want a date clash. If they are older than that they I'd say 3-4 weeks is fine.
