Once you’ve had kids?

I used to read a couple of books a week, sit and listen to music, sunbathe on a lounger for hours, sit and drink wine, looking at a sunset.
I have a 4 year old Dd now, so can’t do the above really..and that’s ok…but, if I ever do have a morning on my own etc, I can’t concentrate on reading, listening to music etc really. This summer I was speaking to my sister whose children are now teenagers and was saying how I envied her as she could sunbathe at the beach easily etc now, and she said she doesn’t as now gets bored quickly and feels she should be *Doing something.
Is this true? Can you ever truly relax in the same way as you used to, post kids?

I'd like to know the answer to this as I'm exactly the same. My eldest is 8 and youngest is 3, I'm always busy and I think when the last one goes to school I'll need a few months just to decompress!
