Lack of parking thread. Light hearted

I keep checking back on here for a parking thread, come on Mumsnet, someone must be having some parking problems somewhere. I have all my ducks in a row, and biscuits are in place and copious amounts of tea and coffee, kettle ready. Please search deep in your soul and tell all. 😀

What a weird coincidence. My doorbell only ever seems to ring when I am in the toilet - as it did today. By the time I got to the door there was no-one there, but then I saw a woman who saw me and returned.
She told a long and rambling tale but the upshot was she was actually apologising for leaving her car entirely legally parked outside my house!
Not only that but she had a flat tyre and no spare (electric BMW i3 - they don't come with a spare wheel) - and the car is awaiting the visit of ou local tyre company.
I told her there was absolutely no need to apologise but thanked her all the same.
Considering how things are often reported on here I considered starting a thread but decided not to - and then saw yours.

Someone has nicked “my” space at work today. Not happy. Been parking in that spot for 22 years. Might have to let the tyres down

(obviously I’m not really going to do that)

Apparently H was upset that M had to share a parking spot with him when they went to the Palace to visit nan together.
