Evri delivery

I ordered two (different) items from Ebay 2 weeks ago. I had notifications about both deliveries from Evri, and an email on Saturday to say they were going to be delivered between 6pm and 8pm. At 8pm an email said delivery was now changed to Sunday.

Sunday the same thing happened, delivery was set to a time then it was changed late Sunday to Monday. Just received another email to say it'll be tomorrow.

I'm never going to get them, am I? Has anyone else had this?

Yes a lot of people had it on Black Friday and didn't get anything for a couple of weeks. A massive amount of undelivered parcels were found dumped in some woods in Kent. You can't contact them directly. You'll end up having to contact the retailer and they'll give you a refund once Evri that's sent it back to them but you'll have to wait blah blah working days to get the refund. Evri causes misery everywhere

My order from 8th December as going to be delivered today according to a 10am update. By 19:30am it was already ‘running late’ but would be here 5:30-7:30pm. I’m still waiting, but our local delivery guy is usually out until all hours bless him.
I’ll let you know if he turns up!

It's so bewildering!

It says delivery is only set when the driver has the parcels, so I'm assuming they must have them?!

Thank you for your reply I'll contact the sellers. Such a pain, I've waited in the house for the given time for days now!!

Had this since early November with a crate of beer. Pretty sure the driver has necked it. But now we get a daily " we will deliver your parcel today .." message. Bizarre

I had this last week with Evri, it was out for delivery and never appeared, they were going to ‘try again tomorrow’. I went back to the retailer after a few days (it was pet food) and apparently it was ‘damaged in transit’ so why they lied and said they would attempt to deliver again I have no idea Hmm.
Anyway it got resent via Yodel and came today.
Moral of the story - don’t trust Evri!

Evri are pretty shyte. They were meant to collect a return for me today. No two hour time slot came. I knew they weren't coming. They didn't. Back on the phone to the catalogue tomorrow...rinse and repeat...

I really wish we could select the courier when buying stuff!

You need to email their Ceo office (his email still has hermes in it but it works).
They are much better and have tracked down missing and lost packages and can tell you where it has been unlike their standard customer service.

God this has reminded me to make some calls of my own.
I ordered something from Wilko 27 Dec normal delivery
Evri emailed me on 29th to say they have it and processing it in hub .
When I track item it shows its been at the delivery depot since 30th Dec.

I thought it may be delayed due to xmas period and postal strikes but will have to call sender.

They have often been quite detailed too, one packaged went all round Britain to 3 different depots including Rugby in England and Dundee! By the time I contacted ceo office it was already 3 weeks late and after i contacted them it was delivered 2 days later!

I've sent an email now so I'm holding onto a small hope!

If they sent honest updates it wouldn't be so bad - it's the waiting around at home pointlessly that's so frustrating.

Hopefully the email will result in an answer, thanks so much again :)
