I got a new job which I was due to begin yesterday, however, on Friday I had a call from my manager that some vital paperwork hadn't arrived, so she would ring me today to confirm if documents had arrived to start tomorrow.
I've had no call today, I tried to call/email at the end of the day (roughly the time the manager called on Friday), left a message and emailed but I've had no reply.
I understand the manager is most likely busy etc. My question is... Do I await a phonecard, or should I show up tomorrow morning as if working prepared to go home if not? I don't know which to do!! On one hand, I don't want to look like I am not serious, but also, I don't want to show up and cause any awkwardness!!
Any advice on which to do would be so helpful!! My anxious side is working overdrive!!
