I'm currently a HLTA in a primary school and am halfway through my teacher training. I love my job and school life in general, although will admit there is definitely a difference between TA expectations and those for a teacher. I'm starting to worry I've done the wrong thing with my degree. I know many teachers both in my setting and externally and all of them seem really unhappy. It's starting to put me off. Can any teachers on here give me any positives? I've also been told that even with school experience newly qualified teachers still struggle to get jobs? Any perspectives would be appreciated.
