I had a mesage from a frien who i have nown for years and she said I think of you as a close friend. I do not agree. We chat a lot but we are not close; She is quite judgemental which I do not like. I could not confide in her because of this. I treat her as a cassual friend. We dont meet up very often and she always tells me she goes places with other people and when I say we dont go out she says you never ask but when I have asked she always says she is not sure what she is doing and yet he aid i am a close friend???

There are many types and levels of friendship (maybe as many as there are typos), why worry about it? It hardly impacts your life in a big way.

If you don't think that she's a close friend, and dislike her, why do you care that you don't go out together? A non issue.

Why would she organise going out with you when she knows you see her as a casual friend?

She is prioritising her close friends, which is good.

Why don’t you organise something, why are you waiting for her to organise something?
