Last day before mat leave - AIBU to do nothing?

It's 2pm. It's my last day before mat leave. I've done all my handover meetings. I have documented everything. I have no emails. I am working from home (as is everyone else).

AIBU to give up and watch TV for the rest of the day? 😄

I was going to say can you wander, chat and pack everything up but as you're WFH, feel free! I'd probably keep half an eye on email just in case though...

I set my out of office on at about 2 pm on my last day in the office. I had the fear some major emergcy would arrive before I finished with out of office I had the perfect not my problem.

Although I also had some tasks to finish so couldn't completely dissappear. If there's nothing left to do just chill.

I've had a couple of my team go off on mat leave this year and set my quick goodbye " meetings with them for lunchtime on their last day in the hope they would do this! A well deserved reward for being organised and getting all the handover sorted in my opinion

I finished at the same point as you but baby decided to bring the party two days later, I so regret not getting to veg on the couch eating bonbons for three weeks! I hope yours hangs on in there!
