Neighbours screaming at each other

More of a wwyd rather than an AIBU. Elderly neighbours living next door. Very volatile. Constantly screaming at each other (him screaming at her, lots of swearing, her back at him also but much less). They've been arguing now for an hour. Struggling to work. They're both in their 80s. He has suspected dementia, she has health issues. Not sure if I should report and if I do, who to. Can anyone advise?

Oh this happened to us, but they were in their 90s and had no kids or relatives. I was away when it happened but apparently there were suspicions that it was becoming violent and ai think a neighbour called both social services and AgeUk.

A couple moved in near me who fight all the time that but they're young. The other night it was clear to me that the fight had turned physical so I called the police. It's been pretty quiet over there since then. But I wouldn't doubt it starts up again on the weekend, when they'll most likely be drinking.

The noise doesn't really bother me. So, to me, it's just about figuring out where the line is between when it would be better to step in and when it might be better not to. I feel like once the authorities get involved, who knows how that could spin off.

So anyway, that's what I'm doing, calling the authorities only when and if it sounds like it's physical.
