I think Seal Bay (formerly Bunn Leisure)in Selsey is on the Sun Holidays promotion. We try go every year, for a long weekend, really love it there.

It's a good resort, well it was when it was Bunn. (It had just been bought out on our last visit.) It's right on the beach, Selsey is a pretty little village with some nice restaurants, and a couple of supermarkets.

My advice is to avoid Southport and anywhere else close to or in Merseyside. Let's just say that staff at these places will not bend over backwards for s*n readers. I hope you don't think I'm being snarky, it's just worth knowing as I'd hate for you to have a crap time.

TrickorTreacle · 05/01/2023 02:06

lol £9.50 is the average price of 2 lattes nowadays.

Thedaysthatremain · 05/01/2023 02:08

God, remember when they were a pound?

@user55875537986543 im also wondering this OP!

Does anyone know if you can upgrade the accommodation, i.e either a caravan rather than a chalet or an upgraded caravan?

SnowyGiveAway · 05/01/2023 09:24

Could you stretch to France? We use the Sun codes to purchase Eurocamp holidays and they are always fab

Workinghardeveryday · 05/01/2023 09:25

When does it start? Does anyone know

Allsnotwell · 05/01/2023 09:26

Worth looking direct - we had a sun holiday and then PIL wanted to join - theirs was much cheaper than we paid!! Double check.

Fran92 · 05/01/2023 09:27

@SnowyGiveAway im looking at using for France, ideally like air con just in case which is why im hoping can upgrade but not sure?

SommerTen · 05/01/2023 09:39

My friend & her family always have good Sun holidays at West Bay in Dorset

Second this. We tried to go on a Sun holiday decades ago. You had to give 4 preferred dates and locations and pay for compulsory add ons making it about the same price as just booking a known date and location directly with the holiday park with no faffing with Sun coupons and having to wait until they'd processed your application to tell you where and when you were going on holiday.

We done a few OP but the best one in my view was Hopton Sands near Great Yarmouth in Norfolk.
We got a free Upgrade when we arrived there as well and the only extra were Passes for the club etc.

We stayed in one near St Tropez last summer and it has air con - thank goodness!!! I think it is standard inthe ones south of France. It will say Aircon unit on the details.

We also stayed in one in the Loire valley which did not, but it was manageable in early July

PeacheyPeach · 06/01/2023 19:49

When do this start? We used to do these years ago. I didn't realise they still did them x

Tiredo · 10/01/2023 08:09

Does anyone know when the codes are all
released please? Thanks.

PeacheyPeach · 10/01/2023 11:39

I've just been on the website and it says you can start to collect from 7th January. So must be available now.

Tiredo · 15/01/2023 08:33

They’ve been released but has anyone actually been able to get anything decent (apart from the dreaded pontins!)?

Ive got nothing, absolutely gutted, there’s no way we’re going to be able to afford a break and was relying on this, pontins works out the same if I book direct and the last 2 times we went it was abysmal 😔

Nootkah · 22/01/2023 13:18

@Tiredo Yes, fortunately I got a week in Brittany at the end of August. I booked at 1.45am on the day the last code was available. Almosteverything in school holidays (except Pontins) gets snapped up very quickly.

Nootkah · 22/01/2023 13:20

@BarbaraofSeville It's a lot easier these days, its all online. You still put your 4 dates and four parks (or a general region) and then aall availability is shown immediately and you click the one you want and pay then and there.
