Nursery Fees

Nursery are charging me the half terms for term time only children?! I have just been invoiced from the 20/12/2022 ( Mine broke up on the 16th this was for all Term time only children).

Until the 10th of January….The day they return? I can’t get hold of anyone as offices are closed!

Does this sound right?! If so I’ll be putting them in all year around?! Looking at the invoices they also charged me for October half term which again was a longer holiday period than full time children!

Which I paid probably not paying attention! AIBU to ask about this? Any advice ? Thanks.

Read your contract. It’d the best advice you will get.

Yeah I can’t find it not even on email but the nursery is a chain so I’ve had a look on the main website and it clearly states sessions are only charged for what’s booked! And they wouldn’t of ever of been booked in as they are term time only….

Do you receive EYFS funding? If so is it taken over 52 weeks or 39?

Babsexxx · 04/01/2023 17:41

Yes I do get funding and pay a £28 top up pw I’m unsure how it is paid to them directly but I’m assuming it must be 39 with them being term time only? DS has 30 hours pw attends 24hours and dd 15hours.
