To think 240g of mince isn’t enough for 2 people?

Got a hello fresh delivery today and one of the recipes (classic cottage pie) was delivered with the smallest amount of mince I’ve ever seen. It is palm sized! Now I know theres other veggies and potatoes in it, but is this not slightly ridiculous? It’s about 4 mouthfuls of meat!

Am I just exceptionally greedy 😂

Are you seriously taking it upon yourself to ‘explain’ that cows are beef and talk about methane?? FGS what a joke.

I understand the choices I make perfectly well, and I make them responsibly. I am frugal with local and global resources, on many levels. What I eat is up to me, and I’ll continue to eat it, thanks.

I believe someone calculated DiCaprio's emissions in a year and it was somethink like 400tons.
Per person carbon in UK is like 5 ton. In US 20 (happy to be corrected).

I really don't think that we should be going through some self flagellations here even with our meat consumption.

I did carbon calvultor and I am happy to say, my footprint is apparently below average😘 so i will keep my farting beef (cow meat).

I use 500g mince and make 2 portions of bolognaise for myself my husband and 2 kids! We eat half and freeze half so 250g is enough for 4 of us in our house!!
