Raging sore throat

Anyone else had this?

Was ok yesterday morning, although a little tired. Started to become really cold in the afternoon, that shaking sort of cold where nothing will warm you up. Got into bed, slept from 4 pm until this morning, such a sore throat, hurts to swallow, aching body and hands (?) head pain but not really a headache
Is it just a cold/flu? Stuffy but not runny nose
My throat is so sore

My husband who is super healthy does 10k runs before work etc has been bed bound this week with either COVID/flu. I’ve never seen him so poorly there’s definitely some nasty things around.

It sounds much like what I have. Not covid, not flu, just one of the bugs which has been going around for a number of weeks now. You could be in for a long ride if you had what I have.

Very sore throat could also be strep A so worth looking at your tongue and tonsils to check for signs.

Eat fresh pineapple or drink fresh pineapple juice and do salt water gargle.

Always helps my throat and I suffer from tonsilitus and get it alot.
