To feel nervous about 2023

even with covid (seemingly) not as sinister as it was a couple of years ago, the economy and political situation just feels so bleak. I can’t say I’m feeling totally optimistic about 2023. I wish I felt differently and welcome any positive thoughts I can take on board!

You could have said the same six months, three months ago... The change of year is just arbitrary chronology.

At least Truss and Kwarteng are not running the country now, how's that?

You know what, there'll be good bits and bad bits of 2023 just like every other year. You can choose which you focus on of course.

YABU. The last 5 years or so were wank.

We have got rid of Theresa May, Jeremy Corbyn, Boris Johnon and Liz Truss.

We have better times ahead. Ride it out :-)

The darkest hour is just before dawn?

We are due some good luck.

Hopefully Vlad will snuff it, we’ll kick the Tories out and the cure for cancer will be rolled out on the NHS. Here’s to positive thinking!

Oh wow Truss - that feels like years ago already 😆
yes the timing thing is very true, it’s just a date, isn’t it. Maybe I need to get some kip then some fresh air in the morning…
