AIBU to find it strange that I have a crush.
I am obsessed with someone I hardly know.

Just blame it on the hormones for being unreasonable, it's happens! Good news is it normally stops in an out of sight out of mind way, do you have to see them often?

No I don't seem them often. I think they said goodbye to me once and I became infatuated. The 1st time I saw them they caught me by surprise.
I'm 36 and have been single too long.

I have had loads and crushes. Married for 16 years (together for 18) never been unfaithful. Secret crushes are harmless. I had a massive crush on the kids basketball coach. He was kind and would give me a little wave when he saw me. I would blush and my heart would be all a flutter - then one day as I was gazing at him, he blew his nose onto his sleeve and examined it. My crush was crushed. What a knuckle dragger. I couldn't bear to look at him after that and insisted my DH took the kids to training. Crushes evaporate as quickly as they appear. Don't read too much into it, enjoy it until they snot on their sleeve.
