I'm pretty sure I have a sensory issue.
Yesterday I had family over (brother, SIL, 3 kids between the ages of 9-14, the 14 year old just moaned all day and then my other brother and his partner) and they're not quiet, they don't have inside voices, everything is shouty. Plus they brought their dogs that bark at everything, especially loud voices, then there was the TV, the games, I honestly felt I my brain was going to explode. I couldn't cope with all the noise and as it was supposed to be a nice day, I had to excuse myself for half an hour to decompress and meditate with headphones on just to drown out the relentless noise.
WIBU to disappear for 30 mins and leaving my family to watch whatever noisy film they were watching just so I could keep sane for the rest of the day?
