Found out my husband messaged an old flame of 18 years ago, who he unsuccessfully tried to hook up with just prior to us getting wed (I forgave him). He full on lied initially then admitted that he had messaged her then deleted the messages so there was no way of verifying what was said and for how long. Is this marriage over?

Yes sorry. He's attempting to cheat. If not already cheating with others I'm sorry.
You know given the opportunity he would. Not happy with what he has. I'd message her and ask as you can't trust his word.

Mine did the same. Eventually in total frustration over the thought of never knowing what the messages said I went digging myself. Never did find the messages which had been deleted but instead found it was far from the first set of messages to someone- he’s been out nearly a year now. Mine didn’t appear to have ever actually ‘sealed the deal’ but he was certainly trying to and that intention was enough for me. Sorry you’re going through it.
