AIBU to think boxing day sales are completely unnecessary? I think they're cruel on staff and could just be held the day after Boxing Day surely?

Interested to hear a different opinion because I just dont understand them at all.

total spending across bricks and mortar and online is predicted to hit £3.6bn today (Boxing Day)

Do you get it now? @FatEaredFuck ?

Cruel??

You take a job in retail then you surely expect to work at busy times??

hay5689 · 27/12/2022 21:48

I work retail and have never understood why people queue outside to buy stock that's 4 years old and just reduced to make room but whatever gets people off I guess?

If I didn't have to work there's absolutely no way I'd be out shopping, that's what the internet is for.

Penguinsaregreat · 27/12/2022 21:49

I agree op, and no I don’t work in retail.

StrawberryWater · 27/12/2022 21:50

It’s mostly crap I wouldn’t buy the rest of the year so no, I don’t bother. 🤷‍♀️

Can't believe people waste their boxing days on them tbh
