To not believe that she is 38?!

Watching Hollyoaks as heard good things about their recent storyline.
Googled the girl who plays Maxine (Nikki Sanderson) and was amazed to read she is 38 years old. Looks way younger, very beautiful and amazing figure.

Botox doesn’t make you look younger it just makes you look frozen.

38 isn't old.... she clearly looks after herself, works out, has good teeth and hair. And can afford good treatments.
Her mum looks young for her age so she has good genes.

I can say with absolute certainty it ain't the Manchester water 😄. I don't look my age apparently (bloody feel it) but some of my schoolmates look much older. Smoking since 11 probably hasn't helped them, though.

Not denying that she isn't 38 just that she looks bloody good on it. It's almost 40 so not young. She looks nowhere near middle aged.

While 'technically' middle aged, 38 is absolutely not thought of as being that! If someone says imagine a middle-aged person your go to won't be a 40 year old woman.

I think she's very beautiful and natural looking. Doesn't look like she's had fillers to me-she's always had high cheekbones.

I’m 38, not slim or attractive but people are frequently gobsmacked at my age, most people tend to peg me as being around 26! 😱

I think you're living in denial (as are a few others on this thread!). 40 is definitely 'seen' as middle aged. To the average Hollyoaks viewer it is practically ancient. And I say this as a nearly-40 something myself.

And yes OP, she looks bloody good for it. I don't believe she has had Botox either - she has always had that 'puffy' cheeked look.

Generally because they are in their 20’s and 38 seems old.
what lots of women don’t realise is that it catches up with you soon after that- 40+

I just googled recent pictures and think she does look mid 30s albeit a much more glam version than the average school run mum. I wouldn’t place her as 20s.

I'm sure most people would perceive 38 as being middle-aged. Let's not kid ourselves, 38 is generally not thought of as being young.

I think I would have pegged Nikki as being mid-30s. The one that really surprised me was Jenna Coleman. She looks a good decade younger (at least) than she is.

She actually looks better now than when younger but she's obviously had work and spends a lot of time in the gym.
