Watching Hollyoaks as heard good things about their recent storyline.
Googled the girl who plays Maxine (Nikki Sanderson) and was amazed to read she is 38 years old. Looks way younger, very beautiful and amazing figure.

She looks late 30s. And why not?

Nikki is gorgeous imo , I think her character Maxine though always seems kind of young - if someone told me Maxine was meant to be say 23 I wouldn’t think twice (even though I watched corrie back in the day 😂)

I would say it varies from person to person I’m late 30s and I reckon if I told people I was late 40s early 50s they wouldn’t question it at all

She looks about 10 years younger than me and I’m 47.she’s lovely looking, but looks 38.

I don’t think noticeable ageing starts for some people until 40s. I ‘m the same age and can’t see much difference in my photos from ten years ago. I’m sure it’s going to sneak up any day though now.

The trick is just keeping fit. Whenever someone over 30 looks after their body people marvel about how young they look.

Probably looks younger then she is because she hasn't got children. All my childless friends look young!

Her mum also looks young for 70 so very good genes! Holly Willoughbys mum also looks young for her age.

Not really. Lots of thin people age terribly because of loss of facial fat and /or they neglected using sunscreen. You have to add that in with fillers and results ofc may vary.

This thread shows why so many on here have such a hard time believing someone in their late 30s is still regularly ID'd in shops and told they look at least ten years younger. As far as MN is concerned it's just not possible...

Na, it's most likely genetics! I'm the same age and look young and always have.

I only started getting fit last year and regularly got asked ID probably up until this year actually. But then my sisters and mum also look young and always have.

Genes play a big part, her mum doesn't look her age so there obviously is a genetic link. Then there are genetic conditions such as EDS which can make people look younger, I have EDS and don't look my age because of it. I'm not passing for 21 but I look mid-30s rather than mid-40s and with make-up I can push that to early-30s but the pay off is shonky joints that dislocate.

Of course it's possible, I agree. I know of some of people who look up to 10 years younger and have been asked for ID even in their 40s (though she was embarrassed and insists the person asking for ID was much older).

Think the dimples help make her appear younger and her dress style. She could pass for 10 years younger no problem.

Not smoking plays a part, I think.
