To ask any other lazy Boxing Day sloths...

If you are also doing absolutely nothing? I've had a terrible Christmas and I live alone, I've ordered a load of shit food from McColls (via Uber eats) including crumpets, crisps and pizza, and I'm staying in bed all day binge watching Motherland.

I feel slightly guilty when I think about all of the wholesome families going for dog walks, playing games etc. but also, fuck moving.

Anyone else doing similar to me today? Do share so I feel less of a lazy pig! 🤣

We laze on boxing day anyway but we're both poorly today. So we slept in, had a quick housework blitz & now we're 4 movies in, eating left over snacks & the chili we made on Christmas Eve to have today.

All sounds lovely, but no, we needed fresh air. Five mile family walk, but went easy on ourselves and chose surfaced trail rather than fields. Not cleaning muddy boots on Boxing Day! Leftovers for an easy dinner tonight.

We came home from our holidays and got pissed at my in laws. Then we ate leftover Christmas dinner.

We were in bed by 8 - dh snoring and me reading my book.

I might go for a walk tomorrow, but today was slothy. I napped on the sofa most of the day, I'm ending the day in bed with the tv and mn. Dinner was cheese and biscuits and chocolate.

Nothing wrong with lazy days, they are needed all through the year. Life shouldn't be a constant grind where everything has to be productive. Just resting and slowing down is so important.

DP has a rotten cold which I am sure I will get - sloth day here. I had a long bath and put on fresh pjs, not even been dressed today, although I did do a 30 minute YT workout earlier. DP is now snoozing on the couch with the cat lying on him, I wish he would go to bed because he keeps snoring!
