Stockings for older teens?

We do give presents but don't do stockings now they are older (late teens / early twenties), AWBU?

If we are BU, what do you put in them?

No we don't do them either for our teens

I do stockings for all of my kids, and two of them are adults. This year the older ones are getting alpaca socks, a multi-tool, a powerful flashlight, gift card for gas, lottery tickets, candy, and a fidget toy.

My 18 year old has a few nice food/drink bits, funny socks, scratch cards, smellies, a little reading light, and a book in his.

Oh, and some chocolate coins because they're an absolute must.

I'm in my 40s and I'll get a stocking from my parents in the morning. It'll have shower gel, de-icer, a toothbrush, a big tube of smarties, and a selection pack.

We've just got back from the pub, bit worse for wear and delivered the stockings. 12y old asleep. 17y old out so left on bed. 15y old pissing himself as DP knocked on bedroom door saying "it's Father Christmas" 😁

This is the first year we've acknowledged it is us although obviously they've known a long time, the older ones anyway. No toys this year. I've put in chocolates, sweets, face wash, a ring each they wanted, pens for school, bath stuff, chocolate coins, lollies, chocolate Santa, tangerine.

It has to stop at some point ...

Yup - even do one for my mum and make an excuse every year to pop in and hide it

We do for our DS14 & DS20, I'm not sure when I will secretly put them on there bed 😅. They have chocolate, books and smellies and a tangerine. When I was a kid my stocking was the best bit, feeling the heavy lump on the end of the bed . Happy Christmas In fact I will put them out now - hopefully they will be asleep 🙈

Our stockings are pillow cases.
all teens here ranging from 22 to 15 have a pillow case sitting outside their bedroom doors.

sweets, silly gifts, some toiletries and a new game/board game to play tomorrow and they have all gone to bed in new PJs
I feel very blessed and content today

Our rule is everyone in the house on Christmas morning gets a stocking. 6 adults this year plus two teens and a baby!
