To think I am vomiting too much?

is it normal to vomit every 15 minutes when sick? I’ve had a cold the last few days. Suddenly I’d to run to the bathroom with severe and vicious nausea. Felt a bit dizzy but didn’t get sick. Now I’m getting sick every 15 minutes which seems too frequent. AIBU to think this is a bit much or has this level of vomiting happened to anyone else with a respiratory virus? Not looking for medical advice just if I’m overreacting! Thanks.

Didn't want to leave you hanging, but I don't think it's possible to know from what you've written. It doesn't sound cold-related.

I think I've had vomiting that frequently with norovirus. I felt horrific, throwing up nothing but bile after a short time. Hideous fever and too uncomfortable to sleep. It passed in around 24 hours.

Do you have abdominal pain, fever, vertigo - anything else? How are you doing now?

Depends, food poisoning no- I’ve had both ends for hours until it’s all out. TMI!

Sip cooled, boiled water. Don’t take anything to keep the vomit inside your body- let it come out, rest.
Ring your doctor if you’re worried.

Norovirus is doing the rounds which makes you vomit rather profusely.

You probably don’t just have a respiratory virus, sounds like you’ve picked up a second bug while your immune system is low from the first? Or it’s something you ate…

Thanks all. I’m good now after some rehydration ! So random maybe something I ate on top of this cold virus
