My local MP has over the last few weeks posted 2-3 videos of themselves dancing ( not ballroom, I mean tictok stuff). I actually think at a time when people are struggling with lots of issues, heating, feeding themselves etc.. I actually found it quite inappropriate and think would compound the idea that MPs are out of touch and don't understand what people are going through. If i was sittingin a freezing house or going hungry i think id be quite annoyed seeing videos like that,. I think there are better ways to come across as relatable. AIBU?

I have such nostalgia for the days when mps at least tried to be professional. I want my mps boring and competent, please.

If it’s on his official work site then I agree that it’s inappropriate, but then I think anyone posting the se dancing in a work uniform is wrong. Take your uniform off and do it in your own time.
