Watching Mackenzie Crook on TV ..he doesn't look well...not being rude but he looks quite frail.
Hope he's ok !!!

I cannot tell you how happy I am that this wasn't a thread saying he was either a) a complete twat or b) dead. I love the Detectorists - Shelia is my favourite.

Thank you all ...I've not seen that show.
I think last time I saw him was The Office ...so I'm a bit behind
Good to know he's his usual self
Not sure I had AIBU ...just posted here as it seems the busiest!

I'm sure I read an article or interview once where it mentioned he had some underlying condition which contributed to his slimness.

Also glad he hasn't died or done something awful - he's brilliant.

He's looked like he's been at death's door since The Office, and that was over 20 years ago. I think that's just his face.

I am a great fan of him and his work. He writes so well and he has a lovely gentle voice too, heard him on Loose Ends this week.

Another one for definitely would! Have always found him attractive. Maybe not with the bowl cut in his Office days though. He seems like a completely different person in The Office!

I agree we should not be commenting on his health/looks, but fair game to let him know he is admired...I hope he finds out mums are lusting after him. 😂

Truthfully he's never looked he well. He's always looked ill and gaunt with sunken eyes. The moment he first appeared on TV he looked like he had a serious illness and wasn't going to live a long life.

Detectorists is my happy place. The Boxing Day special is my Christmas TV highlight.

I have a Bil who has a similar physique to Mr Crook - looks as if he hasn't slept in 3 years - and I think he's the healthiest of the lot of us!
