AIBU to buy a single mattress from Ikea, are they any good?

I bought a double mattress from there a few years ago that had a horrible chemical smell for weeks and we ended up returning it.

YABU - don't buy from Ikea
YANBU - Ikea mattresses are good /ok

IKEA mattresses are fine. My kids sleep on them. Ones a single and ones a double.

There was a chemical smell but it went away after airing it for 24 hours.

We bought a king size from them just over a year ago. It's lovely! No smell ? And a lot cheaper than the equivalent in some of the well advertised high st brands.

We all have Ikea mattresses (so 2 single and 1 double). Probably mid-price of their ranges. They're good - no problems here.

They’re fine. I’ve bought three of the cheap-ish ones in the last few years and they’re good value imo, comfortable enough for the money. Haven’t had any chemical smells from any of them and I like the way they come all rolled up so you can pop them in your car easily.

Both Ds and we have mattresses from there, really comfortable and wouldn't go anywhere else tbh. We went for pocket sprung and you do have to leave to air as they're plastic wrapped but go for it.

We have 3. Two doubles and a king. I've only slept on the king but I love it. It replaced a very expensive ViSpring one and I much prefer the ikea one.

Which ikea ones do you all rate? I have Hovag single for DS but doesn't look like they do them now ?

I'm looking for a new mattress and was wondering if there's a particular Ikea mattress that is recommended? Thanks

Also looking - any recommendations? Hoping we can bump this thread!
