Has anyone found this useful to help support their DC’s immune system please?

He’s 4 and at pre-school, he’s getting one thing after another at the moment.

I mean a dose of vitamin c is good for the immune system, but there’s only so much it can do to counter a naive immune system and high levels of circulating viruses.

I feel your pain, but I think this is an unavoidable stage made more acute due to covid

I wonder if rosehip syrup might be easier to get? The polish shops round here sell it so it's accessible fairly cheaply and also has plenty of Vit C. It has a somewhat ribena-ish taste and I liked it as a hot squash drink.

Thanks both.

Sambucol is reduced on Amazon from £9.45 to £5.93. So I’m just trying to decide whether to invest in a couple of bottles.

My mil makes homemade elderberry syrup every year. My children have a teaspoon mixed with warm water every morning. It obviously isn't a miracle cure however they do seem to be more resilient to bugs. I always take it in hot tea when feeling ill

SAMBUCOL IS BLOODY AMAZING. stick with it.

I take the adult one. So far so good. Nothing caught yet this winter. I take alot of other stuff though. Probiotics, rosehip, zinc, top strength vitamin D as well.

I'm pretty sure the rosehip one I got was about £1.50-£2 maybe for 400ml but obviously that only helps if you have a suitable shop.

You can also check price history on camel camel camel to see what prices the syrup you're looking at has been on Amazon recently.
