To keep 3yo off nursery before christmas

Was wondering what people would do in this situation.

I have a 3 yo and a 5 month old baby. 3yo is in nursery 3 days a week, she’s been off the last week with a heavy cold and was planning to send her next week. Just had a message to say they’ve had two cases of scarlet fever so am now quite worried. She’s been unwell since the beginning of December so am concerned her immune system has already taken a bit of a bartering recently. She absolutely loves her nursery but next week is also her last week there be cute she starts pre school so feels almost cruel to take her out without saying goodbyes

The baby has been admitted to hospital twice with respiratory illnesses so am always concerned about any germs. Admittedly I do suffer with health anxiety, nobody else I know in similar situation seems bothered so am now wondering if I’m completely overthinking it all.

Oh that is tricky. Until I read it was her last week I was going to say pull her out for your peace of mind before Christmas, but actually I think I would leave her in. I'm not a medical expert though, and ultimately it's your decision so there is no right or wrong answer.

Mine are a bit older but all home from childcare next week. We’ve just had constant illnesses and the benefit isn’t worth the risk for 1 more week!
