I don’t get chest pain usually so this is something I’m really unsure about!
ive noticed over the last week that the cold weather is giving me chest pain. It’s only when I breath in too strongly/deeply- as long as I breath relatively shallowly it doesn’t hurt but when I try and take a normal, deeper breath it feels like I’m being stabbed straight in the centre of my chest between my breasts. It’s only happening in the cold weather and isn’t as bad if I’m standing about- it gets worse on walking. It’s a really sharp and horrible pain and usually gets better when I go inside to a warmer environment.
I don’t have a history of any chest or health problems- I use a ventolin inhaler but not for asthma, it’s for hayfever because I get wheezy with it, but that’s mainly during the summer months.
does anyone else have any experience of this?
