This might be abit waffly- sorry
Had a job interview 2 weeks ago (29th November) with two directors from a company. A third director was also supposed to be in attendance but was stuck elsewhere at a conference; the interview went very well.
Fast forward to a few days later (2nd December) the third absent director called me and verbally offered the job after speakingto the two other directors, and said he'd be in touch shortly, would arrange a courier to send me a laptop (remote role) and would will also email a contract for me to review and agree to. Happy days.
A week ago (6th December) one of the original directors who interviewed me originally, verbally extended the job offer again and seemed very keen to get the ball rolling. They also confirmed that I should have an email outlining the job offer/compensation etc. By Thursday 9th.
I've heard absolutely nothing. I know its the run up to Xmas so probably insanely busy and I'm trying to be mindful of that. I sent a courtesy email today to say that I was excited to get acquainted with the team etc. And still nothing.
I've had verbal job offers before, where had the bosses ghosted me which ultimately led to me losing the job (which is another story for another time). AIBU to think I should've heard by now, or am I just being anxious and impatient?
