Firstly, I’m not a bitter and jealous person, I’m generally v happy to see pics of people on lovely holidays, happy families etc on Fb and Instagram. But lately, it’s been pissing me off a bit, friends/acquaintances posting about another holiday booked with the above comment or posts about designers bags/clothes etc. It never used to bother me, but people doing this now in the current climate, seems really insensitive? I’ve just started to think ‘Twat’ and am really going off them, aibu?

I find the whole checking in and posting everything you are doing is a bit dated now the younger people on my Facebook rarely post nowadays . I don’t mind seeing my families holiday photos etc but I unfollowed old work colleagues and the like who do all the ‘making memories ‘ and ‘date night with this one ‘ stuff

Otherwise you wouldn't care what they caption their pics and vids with. Or what they post.

Why is it ok to post such pics without those captions but not if they do?

YANBU. I've been debating whether come off it for good now. I don’tinder Instagram but FB just seems to be becoming very dated, people hardly post now, younger generation don’t use it and most are no doubt only on it to be nosey.

Only thing I'd miss is Marketplace!
