I am the first to admit I don’t very often buy food at McDonald’s. So I don’t know if this is the norm or not. However today I decided to have a bacon cheeseburger ( I usually have an occasional cheeseburger). When I started to eat it I thought the bacon was cold and undercooked. I went back to the counter and queried it. I was told that the bacon was bought in precooked but obviously chilled and it was always put in the burgers like this. They did offer to grill the bacon which I accepted and all was well. I had thought a hot burger should be served with the hot sizzling bacon we see in the adverts? Also what happens with bacon McMuffins are they served with cold bacon? So to my AIBU.
YABU McDonalds bacon is always precooked and cold on their burgers. Everyone knows that and enjoys it!
YANBU McDonalds bacon should be sizzled on the grill before going into a burger.
